A missing notice is not a safety guarantee. This preview has no real player records, and appeal intake is not live.
Publication controlsHow a notice becomes answerableLifecycle, intake, and public-record boundaries
Notice lifecycle
A notice has to survive the process before it survives the page.
Every stage is designed to prevent a lookup tool from turning into a dodge list, rumor board, or hidden reputation score.
- 01
Exact Riot ID
A notice begins with Game Name # Tagline, not a username fragment, tracker search result, Discord nickname, or screenshot label.
- 02
Public source proof
The source must be public, authoritative, and clear about what action was completed. Private claims and play-quality complaints stop here.
- 03
Operator review
A named reviewer checks identity, source scope, expiry, wording, conflicts, and whether publication remains proportionate.
- 04
Appeal and correction
A named player or authorized representative needs a staffed path to challenge identity, source accuracy, current status, or relevance.
- 05
Expiry by default
Records leave active publication unless a fresh review proves continued public notice is still necessary.
Manual intake contract
A Riot ID is only the starting point.
OffAngle can be manually seeded later, but publication still requires source-backed facts, correction access, and an operator who owns the decision.
Accepted input
- Exact Riot ID with tag line, plus any known historic Riot ID if the public source uses an older name.
- A public source URL that names the player and documents a completed moderation or competitive-integrity action.
- A short source claim: what the cited source proves, without extra allegations or interpretation.
- A correction contact path that a named player or authorized representative can use without exposing private account data.
Rejected input
- Username-only reports, tracker links alone, private Discord screenshots, VOD clips without an authoritative public decision, and anonymous accusations.
- Play-quality complaints such as boosted, bad teammate, thrower, instalock, no-comms, or dodge-this-player claims.
- Bulk imports, scraped lists, hidden admin-only suspicion notes, or automated reputation scores.
Before publication
- Named safety owner and backup coverage.
- Appeal intake, correction workflow, retention window, and moderation recusal path.
- Legal/Riot policy review for public wording, source handling, and provider boundaries.

Publication policy
A notice must remain answerable.
Publication is a continuing responsibility. Evidence can change, identities can be mistaken, and a past action can lose its relevance.
Evidence standard
- A record must cite a public, authoritative source that identifies the player and documents a completed moderation or competitive-integrity action.
- Rumors, private messages, anonymous screenshots, crowd reports, rank, and play quality are not evidence for this notice.
- Every record must state what the source establishes without guessing at motive, intent, or undisclosed facts.
Corrections and expiry
- A correction replaces inaccurate copy and preserves a dated correction note.
- A withdrawn or overturned source removes the record from the active list.
- Records expire unless a fresh review confirms that continued publication remains relevant and proportionate.
Appeals
- No appeal intake is live yet. OffAngle will not publish a record until a staffed correction channel, identity-check process, and response target are publicly available.
- When intake opens, the named player or an authorized representative may challenge identity, source accuracy, current status, or continued relevance.
- Submitting an appeal will not require private match history, account credentials, government identification, or unrelated personal information.
